INSPIRE: Seven Strategies for Ending Violence Against Children

A webinar will be organized to promote INSPIRE: Seven Strategies for Preventing Violence Against Children.

INSPIRE is an evidence-based resource that can be used by anyone who demonstrates commitment to preventing and responding to violence against children and youth, from the state to the public, from civil society to the private sector. The INSPIRE study focuses on what countries can do to prevent and respond to violence against children.This study supports the efforts of countries and communities to prevent violence against children with a set of strategies based on best practice based evidence available.These seven strategies are as follows: Implementation and enforcement of laws; Norms and values, Safe environments, Support for parents and caregivers, Income and economic empowerment, Intervention and support services, Education and life skills.

In the online meeting to be held on July 2, 2019, the general introduction of the INSPIRE set and the 7 strategies listed above will be introduced.

INSPIRE set is a World Health Organization publication. The work has been prepared with the contributions of technical experts of many organizations *.

The Nirengi Association from Turkey undertook adapting the INSPIRE: Seven Strategies for Preventing Violence Against Children set to our country and works towards it being ready for use in 2019.
