Idil is TED Ankara College  graduate. She holds a BA in Political Science and International Relations from the Yeditepe University. She also completed the Business Studies Certificate program from the University of Wales.

She has been supporting NGO’s since 1999 Marmara Earthquake on project implementation as well as visibility and communication area.

Idil Turkmen Ayaydınlı is a Communications and Visibility Expert who partners with NGOs to grow their projects within the area of communication. She also supports NGO’s on project implementation. Idil has worked on various projects in different areas. Some examples are:

The Helping the Helpers project after 5.8 magnitude Elazığ Earthquake aims to support psychosocial wellbeing of Elazığ Family, Work and Social Services Directorate staff.

The  Before It’s Too Late project aims to prevent child abuse, peer bullying and intimate partner violence by creating awareness and supporting efforts for developing a school-based early- appropriate response system.

The First 1000 Days For A Healthy Future project aims to support young Syrian pregnant women and mothers living in disadvantaged conditions on early childhood education.

The Civil Society Disaster Platform, which aims to bring together under one roof all non-governmental organizations that work or have the potential to work in the area of ​​minimizing disaster risks and responding to disasters. Emergency Assistance Projects  after Marmara earthquake in 1999 and Van earthquake in 2011 aimed to deliver humanitarian aid to survivors, Child Protection in Seasonal Agriculture  project aims to minimize or eradicate the risks for children.

In addition to her project implementation and PR expertise, she has organized dozens of workshops and meetings for NGOs.

She is trainer of SPHERE Humanitarian Charter and Minimum Standards; Core Humanitarian Standards; Basic Disaster Awareness; Risk Communication; Solution Based Journalism; Campaign Management and Sustainability Report Evaluation.
